Wally Borosa


Wally Borosa is a versatile, solutions-focused hospitality professional with over two decades of experience in directing human resources and F&B operations in five-star hotels in Canada and around the world. Throughout Wally’s career, he has been extremely successful in all levels of international management recruiting. Wally began his hospitality career at the world renowned, The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto and then moved to the Fairmont Dubai where he held numerous managerial posts growing his international career. In 2009, Wally became part of the pre-opening team for four luxury Mövenpick properties in Dubai as Director of Human Resources, where he developed, and implemented recruitment for key management from all over the world. In 2012, the Seychelles beckoned as Wally took up the role of Director of HR at Raffles Praslin. Here he reimagined and restructured the recruitment strategy building strong working relationships with governments and immigration officials handling international recruitment from 13 nations. He then joined The Ritz-Carlton Doha, The Ritz-Carlton Sharq Village & Spa and Marriott Doha as the Cluster Director of Human Resources until re-joining Fairmont again in 2021 where he oversaw the Raffles Doha & Fairmont Doha properties as the Executive Director Talent & Culture until making the decision to return to Toronto, Canada to start the next chapter in his career.
