widely different financial packages.
* In smaller hotels E.A.M. handles both positions.
** Revenue Manager/Reservation Manager similar posts in some hotels. Very active position.
+ Some hotels combine positions.
++ U.K. not included.
Including Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland,
Netherlands, Austria, and Italy.
All salaries converted to U.S.$
Some hotels under 75 rooms pay the highest salary, as they are boutiques, heritage or
seasonal hotels/resorts.
|
Comments Salaries in the region have been "flat" over the last
three years due to higher operating costs, poorer than expected occupancies and higher employee
benefit costs. Independent hotels are more flexible and willing to negotiate. Larger
companies tend to be able to transfer or promote internally, so they have not had to increase
salaries.
