Having Food & Beverage operations and health/fitness and leisure centers throughout USA and Canada, our client seeks a VP Food & Beverage who will be responsible for developing and leading the Group's F&B hospitality business throughout these two countries. Reporting to the Group Vice President, the VP Food & Beverage will work with the F&B teams and oversee the operation of 200+ organizations and restaurants. You will be responsible for the maintenance of high quality standards, introduce new businesses and develop the current clientele. The major function of this position requires the successful individual to be a professional within the food and beverage sector of the hospitality and health industry with ideally 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a variety of experiences, which may include experience in multi-faceted hotel or restaurant food and beverage operations. The client is particularly interested in hiring someone who can infuse new concepts; mixing North American and health food/Spa concepts, and revitalizing their current F&B. The VP Food & Beverage will be aware and/or knowledgeable of various food trends with a view to adapting the food operations to changing needs, clientele, diets and trends. This is a senior role where you will supervise a department of many people from kitchen and menu designers to talent scouts and administrative personnel. Requirements: Possess degree in Hotel Management, Business degree/diploma. Certification in nutrition would be a strong asset. Equivalent experience with 10 years of F&B leadership experience. Exposure and background in managing multi-outlet food and beverage operations. In depth knowledge of restaurant and hospitality industry and more importantly .."Someone who has been around and knows new F&B concepts". Possess experience in leading strategic planning and project management, ability to drive change and meaningful innovation. Responsible in leading F&B concept development, standards, and processes to develop signature food and beverage experiences to drive highest F&B margins, quality services and maximum revenue. In partnership with divisional teams, develops common metrics and performance tools, identifies best practices and share within the Group. Compensation: Salary will be in the range of US$175,000 + benefits and incentives.
