Upscale Restaurant Manager for Nova Scotia Restaurant operation. They are seeking a very strong and talented Restaurant Manager to work in a busy restaurant in Nova Scotia. In this role, you will report directly to, and work with closely with the General Manager and the Executive Chef in implementing and achieving the culinary and financial objectives for this popular establishment. Under the general guidance of the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager will ensure that all guests have a rewarding and memorable experience. The Restaurant RM will assist in coordinating, supervising and directing the restaurant operation, and maintaining high standards of food and service levels. Yopu will help to create and implement successful marketing campaigns to promote business, build relationships and drive customer loyalty, reduce employee turnover, maintain revenue and payroll budgets, and achieve monthly and yearly financial and quality audit objectives. Duties & Functions: . Promote restaurant business and continually source new business while building loyalty with existing businesses/guests . Build strong business relationships with all 3rd party F&B partners . Ensure that staff receives consistent and proper feedback and training as well as clear direction . Monitor performance with respect to the restaurant budgets and manage accordingly . Monitor & maintain proper inventory and supplier contracts to ensure cost of sales remain in budget . Consistently monitor quality of service and product delivered on property Experience Requirements: . Canadian Residency or Citizenship . Proven track record in leading the operations of a busy, stand-alone restaurant . Proven track record working in a restaurant with revenues of over $5M year . Must be passionate about the industry and innovative in managing business needs, staff and guests . Solid communication skills amongst your teams, both FOH and BOH . Ability to collaborate and amend direction as needed in response to guest feedback and business performance Salary: .
