Multi-unit quick serve food and catering operation in Bermuda requires a Kitchen Manager. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this position will be responsible for ensuring consistency, quality, cost control and standards for food service production on site and off site. Responsibilities: . Creates, implements and monitors food presentation, food quality standards, portioning controls and oversees kitchen brigade in their delivery . Develops standardized operation procedures (SOP) and workflow practices for food production, health and safety, and quality assurance. . Assists in developing checklists for outlet inspections and conducts inspections. . Assists in training and evaluation of employees. . Assists in maintaining Inventory controls . Directly supervises food production, in absence of Executive Chef. Qualifications: . Minimum of 6 years kitchen/culinary management experience . Associates degree in culinary arts, red seal or industry equivalent . Experience in quality assurance or management for quick serve food production . Ability to work 6 days a week with some evenings, depending on volume of business. . Must be able to commute between multiple outlet locations on island . Must be computer literate and proficient in Excel Compensation package: Competitive market salary based on experience ranging from US$50-60K + catering bonus. No housing allowance provided.
