**US citizens, Green card holders, and/or those with US work permit can only apply** Our client, a global multi conglomerate who owns and operates the most prestigious hotel and long term stay brands, and has also been providing carefully considered, personal service for several decades in cities throughout the world, seeks a Managing Director responsible for the entire USA region. Reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors, the Managing Director USA is a key member of the company's senior leadership team and provides the leadership, management and vision to ensure that the company has the proper operational structure, process, administrative and reporting procedures, and human capital systems in place to effectively enable the company to achieve its objectives to grow profitably and meet share holder expectations. It is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial hospitality executive, now a CEO or COO, Managing Director or Sr. Vice President in a leading hotel or serviced residences group. He or she will be excited to break new ground and further establish the brand in a rapidly expanding business sectors. Our client's buzz word is "we want someone with skilled knowledge of business operational and financial planning tools and with significant previous experience overseeing complex multi-location operations in the hospitality industry". The primary responsibilities for the Managing Director includes the group's business development, property owner relations, finance, human resources, and property operations. Additionally, the position is responsible for the continued development of a chain under the company's brand (and sub brands) across the Europe, Middle East and Africa You must take full accountability for the profitability, operations, and for supervising the development process for new properties and renovation, and upgrading projects for existing residences. . The post is only for those with extensive USA work history and you are holding (or have held) an important multi-unit operational role with well-known luxury hospitality brands. Mandatory requirements: - You must have extensive USA experience. - A very steady employment history. - Exposure to global markets where the group does business or has development opportunities. - Hotel senior operations management experience is mandatory. - Highly service oriented in multi-cultural environments. - First-class people management skills across multiple jurisdictions. - Maturity of approach in dealing with owners and principals. - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent degree) required, MBA preferred. - 10 - 15+ years of strong work experience at the executive level in hotel operations, with multi-unit location business units. - You have a "developer mentality". Strong financial and business development capabilities. - Exposure to asset investment strategies and hospitality/housing market segments. - Knowledge of multi-brand concepts. - Technology savvy - with an eye to understanding new developments in forecasting trends and future success.
