This position is based at the group's S. California office and will be responsible for overseeing all of their properties in the Americas. The successful candidate will provide expert technical assistance to team members, including a number of Director of Information Technology Individuals with high-level systems and networking environments. Our client's first preference would be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with certifications in; Security, ISC SCCP, ISC CISSP, ISC ISSAP. As a member of the senior head office Executive Management Team, the Chief Technology Officer will provide onsite and international remote support to all properties within this organization, enforcing adequate controls for safeguarding the company's' assets.. Knowledge of hotel industry terminology, concepts and methodologies, along with extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design and management of both physical and logical information systems is important for this role. A minimum of 6-8 years of current senior multi-disciplined information technology experience ideally in the Hotel, Resort and/or Hospitality industry, Other important skills also include strong understanding of the PCI and HIPAA legislation, requirements and compliance, excellent time management, communication, organizational and decision-making skills. You are also required to have demonstrated experience in security operations with respect to server and network systems, web applications and/or databases. To qualify for this role you must also have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to create and maintain formal written policies and procedures. You will lead major network projects to support capacity growth, upgrades and new products/features, and integration. Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents computer networks and infrastructure. You will develop and maintains the design of IT systems and telecommunications, defines data exchange standards and protocols, communications, software and implements policies regarding information technology, telecoms, process and procedure coordination. Important IT related skills include; Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook / Project / Visio and Ms Windows environment. Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other industry related standard network administration methodologies and tools.
