A soon to be built integrated resort consisting of a luxury hotel of over 500 rooms, high end restaurants, large banquets with convention and exhibition centers, requires an experienced General Manager to open this project and down the line a large casino. Someone who can start in the next 90 days latest. The individual will currently be working within a large branded and International organization in a General Manager's role for a hotel over 500 rooms for at least 5 years. Solid Sales and Marketing skills is required as the General Manager's main focus will be to fill, sell and market the property and ensure it is profitable on all levels. Since the hotel will comprise of a large Food & Beverage operation, the ideal candidate must possess experience in operating hotels where there are conferences and conventions for over 5000 people. Opening experience is an important requirement, along with experience in luxury and high end properties. Important requirements also include: Experience in operating large scale hotel at 500 rooms plus. Opening experience ideally with a large scale hotel and in high end luxury. Managed and operated hotels with large banquet and catering facilities. Someone with a very strong business sense. Must have solid Sales & Marketing ability, as he/she will have to drive business with new markets in SE Asia and Middle East, as well existing markets in Asia. Good understand of "ultra-luxury" as well as high end luxury. Strong F&B knowledge as it is a very large F&B operation. Salary: Negotiable.
