OpportunityGeneral Manager, Marine & Water Parks

Extensive knowledge and experience in a senior capacity operating and "opening" a Marine / Water Park. A luxurious and "one its kind" five star beach hotel/resort with specialty restaurants, spa and health facilities, as well as meeting rooms/conferences in the Caribbean seeks a General Manager for the Operations of their Water Park, which contains "one of a kind" marine mammals that attracts visitors from all over the world. Along with their team, the General Manager will work towards the operations, strategic management and maintenance of this extensive marine and water parks. You must ensure that these facilities are operating at the highest level of standards with respect to service, cleanliness and safety of the mammals. It is very important for the GM to oversee fiscal responsibilities including reporting and audits, implement standards of operations and provide high quality guest interaction programs with high guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will also be required to drive revenue generating initiatives, manage capital expenditure projects, and build marketing strategies to enhance the Parks operations. You will be instrumental in implementing training programs for the staff that will facilitate their skills, knowledge and competency. Responsibilities also include monitoring water park equipment and supplies to ensure that staff can perform their responsibilities to the services, operations and safety standards. Act as a liaison with outside contractors and consultants; develop and maintain working relationships with outside vendors, ensuring lifeguarding practices are commensurate with appropriate company protocols. Important requirements for this role are: More than 8 years of knowledge and proven ability managing large water park facilities or a similar operation. Must have extensive experience as a VP or in a leadership role in a high volume Marine/Water Park facility. Ellis and Associates, NPWLTP Instructor certificate required. First Aid and CPR certification. CPO or AFO training is a plus Proven leadership skills and ability to handle detailed complex concepts. Ability to effectively solve problems and make rapid complex decisions. Commitment to effective results, leading change and motivating their team. Experience operating effectively in a union environment. Strong financial acumen and proven ability to progressively increase revenues. Experience managing and supervising a diverse group of professionals. Ability to drive results through innovative activities. Annual salary ranges between US$150,000 - US$200,000 tax free plus a comprehensive expat benefits package.
