** European Experience Required ** One of the most respected hospitality groups that owns and operates 4 and 5 star hotels and serviced suites Internationally, seeks a European trained and experienced General Manager for their first class hotel in Bangladesh. The General Manager will provide leadership and guidance to his team and will successfully position this busy and modern city hotel in the market, balancing the needs of all stakeholders; guests, associates, owners and corporate office alike. You will focus on the financial performance, service excellence and brand standards, as well as realize the Group's overall vision, purpose and values, and long term financial success. Important requirements for the General Manager's role are: SE Asian experience is mandatory. At least 8 years of working experience at a Senior Management level in the hotel industry. Proven track record of successfully managing Hotel Operations. Has an established positive reputation in dealing with hotel owners and asset managers. Has worked in a situation with high level involvement of owners. Has worked in a highly competitive environment. Proven ability to enhance performance across all areas (financial, guest satisfaction, institutional efficiency, employee satisfaction, owner relationship/satisfaction). Must understand Rooms, F&B, Sales & Marketing, distribution and channel management. Must be able to set aggressive sales targets, understand the results and be able to set strategies to increase business levels. Qualifications: Formal Hotel Management Training or alternatively thorough/full apprenticeship. Post-graduate qualification in business, hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
