**The Director of Sales MICE must be a US Citizen, with a home office in the USA and willing to travel extensively** A five star hotel/resort known for its luxury and award winning facilities in Bali, Indonesia seeks a dynamic Director of Sales for their MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions). This person can be based at the resort in Bali or work form their home office, if currently residing in USA. International experience and solid market connections within USA, Europe and Australia are mandatory requirements, along with SE Asia market experience. The DOS must have contacts with all big PCO / Producers in Australia, Europe and the USA. You must also be actively involved in FAM Trips, with extensive market experience in all of these important locations, within the top International luxury brands. We are looking for someone who knows how to sell. The DOS will possess strong interpersonal, organizational, administrative, leadership, customer service and communication skills. Must have strong business acumen and have strategy for selling to new markets. The successful candidate will be a highly energetic individual who is capable of taking up the challenges that a large and very versatile operation demands on a day to day basis. We seek a "go-getter" who will be responsible for the hotel/resort business activities, sealing deals and contracts with a dedicated sales team, as well as coordinating the communication between client, sales and operations. The candidate must have outstanding experience in scheduling, contracting and monitoring of the results and have a mature and energetic approach to driving the MICE business whilst coordinating the entire operation. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to communicate at all levels. Superior negotiating and selling skills, planning and organization skills, along with strong administrative skills are also some of the important requirements for this position.
