Director of Human Resources Details: Our client is an International luxury hotel group who is looking for a strong Director of HR with opening experience in Brazil. The hotel is a luxury boutique hotel with over 100 rooms and also 100 owners' suites. The hotel will also feature two high end restaurants, complemented by a bar and also a caviar lounge. Recreational facilities will include two swimming pools, a large spa with six treatment rooms and fitness area. The HR Director will be responsible for the leadership and management of all functions of the Human Resources department, in accordance with hotel standards and government compliance Responsibilities: . Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including onboarding . Establish progressive discipline procedures; monitor compliance with such; conduct counseling sessions with employees; ensure documentation and placement of records in employees' files. . Complete designated forms required by local/state/federal government and maintain on file the breakdown of all related benefit costs. . Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale. Qualifications . Minimum five years' experience as a Human Resources Manager or Director in a luxury or ultra-luxury environment. . Minimum five years' experience in a similar position with a 5-star or 5-diamond property - "Opening Experience" a big plus . Bachelor's degree in human resources, hotel management, business or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of MUST SPEAK & WRITE FLUENT ENGLISH & PORTUGUESE Compensation: Competitive Benefits + base salary (Approx. 20k BRL to 25k BRL per month commensurate with experience) .
