Culinary Director required by the largest most innovative hospitality institute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and leading hotel management institute in the Middle East. He/she will oversee all culinary operations, teaching and training across 4 campuses and plan the training and culinary support for tourism development projects. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Chef, highly ambitious, creative, entrepreneurial in nature, strong in brand standard maintenance, great team leader and relentless in the pursuit of success. The Culinary Director will have a passion for hospitality, dedication to perfection, solid work ethic and a can-do attitude is essential. Responsibilities include: - Set the culinary action plan in all aspects to include menu concept, equipment, kitchen design, table service and goods receiving etc.; - Ensure culinary education and training is delivered according to standards and assist in the development of training and courses to industry cutting edge standards; - Lead, train, motivate and mentor all culinary managers; - Ensure effective connections between kitchen and table service both in planned layout and in the operation; - Manage the culinary team, set hiring standards and nurture excellent talent; - Set measurable operational KPIs for profit, quality and student/guest satisfaction, then ensure their achievement on all campuses; and - Set a strategy for promoting the brand and action plan for culinary excellence. Salary is USD $54K-66K (tax-free) or negotiable based on experience, accommodation allowance (single or family), transportation allowance, medical plus 30 days annual vacation.
