The Chef de Cuisine will lead the multi-cultural kitchen brigade and kitchen management team in menu design, food preparation, training and ongoing operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on high energy professional Chef with a solid culinary background, creativity, proven leadership skills and the passion for quality and excellence. Mandatory Requirements: . Must have a College Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience . Minimum 5 years management experience in luxury resort with high volume . Must have HACCP experience and knowledge of solid sustainability practices . ***Must have experience in a US major city trend setting restaurant *** . ***Must have knowledge of current culinary trends in Southern California Coastal Cuisine . Must be knowledgeable of and able to meet today's dietary requirements*** . Must be computer literate . Must be fluent in English ***Pre-Opening experience is an asset and highly preferred*** This position offers USD $70,000+ based on experience and bonus incentive, plus $2,500 monthly housing allowance, annual vacation and benefits package.
