Considering that Alain grew up in the Bahamas, it came as no surprise that he found himself in the Hospitality Industry. Alain worked in hotel operations for 10 years in Canada, the UK and Australia with independent properties as well as with big players such Delta, Hilton, and IHG. Alain always enjoyed the ability to assist and mentor his employees and so taking on a role wherein he can directly impact a person’s professional development has been a very rewarding experience. Alain has a BA in Business, a Diploma in Hospitality Management and is a Certified Associate of Project Management.
Michel Acquarone Executive Consultant
With just over two decades with Renard International, Michel is the go-to person for your French-speaking recruitment needs. Originally from the South of France, he boasts a lengthy career as an hotelier. He uses his contacts in culinary, food & beverage and management to bring an extensive roster of multilingual candidates especially to clients in Canada, Northern Africa and Europe. He has also spent some time as a faculty member of the Hospitality & Tourism Management School at George Brown College in Toronto, launching a future generation of hospitality professionals.
Jon Patrick Luff Administrative Assistant
Prior to moving to Canada in 2015, Jon worked for the NHS in England in the fast paced Department of Surgery at Southend University Hospital, managing the workloads of 11 surgeons. Deciding to further his education, enrolling in the Hotel Management program at George Brown College in Toronto seemed to bridge his experience in the Hospital with his interest in Hospitality. As a result of his hard work, dedication and motivation to succeed, he was awarded the academic distinction of being added to the Dean’s List for each of his semesters and graduated with honors in spring of 2017.

Cornelia is actively involved in the World Association of Chefs Societies (Worldchefs), the Canadian Culinary Federation and its Toronto Branch. Her volunteer work to support the culinary profession and related trade associations in Canada, and around the world, has been her lifelong passion. Through the collective efforts of World Chefs Without Borders, Cornelia strives to help those effected by natural disasters and encourage aid relief. Pina joined this team in 1997 as the Financial Controller. Her main focus is on streamlining operations to ensure financial success for the whole team!

Joining us in 1983 and throughout her years of service, Sue has worn many hats during her tenure. Currently holding a title of Project Coordination Manager, as well as, executive assistant to the President, Sue has overseen many successful projects specialized in the hospitality industry. She has an impressive responsiveness of managing both clients and candidates to meet their needs and requirements. Her experience and deep understanding of the different positions held within the industry has been leveraged through identifying the right candidates for clients through formal project management that has proven to be invaluable.
Brian Renard Senior Executive Consultant
Brian is an integral component of the Renard Team for almost 25 years and has developed success in finding just the right applicants to fill the most challenging assignments in the shortest amount of time. Born in Toronto, Canada, his global reach has enabled him to work in over 50 countries and he still takes a great deal of pride in offering personal service to each new and/or existing client. Jose Acuna Hospitality Search Consultant
Originally from Venezuela and completed a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration at James Madison University in Virginia, USA. His career patch led him to working with Hilton and JW Marriott Hotels in the front office area. After which, he moved on to work in the cruise ship industry for four years with three different companies; Royal Caribbean International, Paul Gauguin Cruises and Princess Cruises in the areas of guest services, event management and brand loyalty. Jose then moved to Canada in 2012, first to Montreal and in 2015, he relocated to Toronto where the opportunity to work with Renard International presented itself and the rest is history. Joining us in 2012, Elizabeth has earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines while working as a Sales Manager at a 5* hotel, The Hotel Nikko Manila Garden which was renamed Dusit Thani Manila. Being in a Sales Manager role, she has travelled extensively to Asia, Australia and other major cities in North America and Europe to promote hotel business and participate in trade shows/conferences. Elizabeth is also active in the Filipino Canadian community in Toronto where she is a member of several community organizations. Elizabeth is fluent in English and Filipino.
